After being wronged for so long, leaders of the guilds rose up to protest the injustices against them

The Steel Revolt occured when the guilds and their members were being oppressed without clear reason. They sought to right this wrong, and the steel guild, Bismarck's, jumpstarted it. It started with some protests, but after members were forced to leave the guilds through intimidation or blackmail, the violence broke out, with 7 members of the senate being rounded up from their homes and executed for the entire city of Phylasia to see. After the guilds had gotten their points across, the king and senate at the time relented, and passed laws to protect the right of the guilds. This event would set the precedent to never mention the word "guild" in a bill that would be passed
