Determination
The second of the three 'Island Gods' of the Tui people.
They view these three islands to be great spirits of stone that give them life, in the form of the creatures and fruit, protect them from storms, thanks to their natural shape, and offer them guidance, in the form of the strange events that seem to naturally surround these unusual lands.
They worship them as gods and view them as all representing different aspects of life or different things they promote, different things they offer the people who choose to reside there.
The Tui people believe the hard, craggy island and seemingly inhospitable surface of it with little room for plants between the hard storms and fierce predators that live here mark this island as Determination, the land which tests and breaks many men, which shows them how weak they are and dares them to prove that they can be better, that they can be more. This island is not often visited except by the bravest of Tui settlers who believe that it is their fate to conquer the Three Challenges, and this one teaches them how to live through hardship and become a better person for it, teaches them to live through strife and not let it make them worse but make them better for it.
Father Stone, they call this island, for it is harder and less kind than Innocence, yet it grants them the strength to do anything they desire. It prepares them for the world outside of these islands they call home. Afterwards, people tend to leave for the final challenge: @Tem
