Fertile Basin
A beautiful region known for its rolling hills of emerald green grass, constantly blooming trees, and its powerful link to the Goddess Eluneth who supposedly watches over this land thanks to it being host to her largest temple, the Bastion of Freedom.
A democratic region, ruled over by a council of elected officials that the public nominates and decides upon, typically no one wants these jobs but they are elected and do it anyways. The people here are primarily converted pirates, convinced to leave the ways of piracy, raiding, and harming others to instead be good, kind hearted people.
Additionally, this region is well known for forming groups of warriors from the people residing within it to try and create "raiding" parties that seek out pirates and slave keepers in the sea or even as far away as other lands to bring them back to the Bastion of Freedom, to further the goals of their goddess and see that no human is ever kept within chains ever again. They are typically, due to this, unfortunately quite racist towards Drow here due to them having been waging a war for nearly five hundred years against the Underdark.
