The Burning Throne
A primarily dwarvish kingdom ruled by Thruin Stonehide, a dwarf born with skin of stone and gems that makes him highly resistant to the powerful heat of the volcanoes that line the mountain side here.
The sky perpetually rains with ash, and the intense heat here scares off most but the hardiest traders and adventurers who brave the heat to meet the dwarves here or explore the mines and natural caves that line these volcanoes.
King Thruin Stonehide rules from his forge in the Great Firemount, and it is said that he is the one who can create the finest weapons and armor in all of the world, yet he reserves this talent only for those who truly impress him with their great honor, skills, or beer.
They commonly worship the God of Dwarves and Lightning, Leyven Stormborn, the God of Beer and Trading, Cathan Fredan, and very rarely the Painbringer.
This Kingdom has always been considered the greatest bulwark against the Empire of Verest's eternal march.
