The Scarred One, The Enduring Soul, Ghermiel's tenacity has secured the prospect of civilization time and time again.  Ghermiel is a gaunt and cracked god with skin akin to stone and a hovering head which safely contains the first city of Serentheim, Solmir.

Ghermiel is tasked to protect what the people of Serentheim build and inspire such thoughts; however, Ghermiel is a gaunt and timid god whose protection is only as powerful as what has been achieved and maintained in Serentheim.

Personal history

During the Sundering, Ghermiel was brought to his knees from his peak condition by the entity simply called the Usurper. As the Usurper destroyed all that Nervellon had built, so too did the Usurper destroy Ghermiel from the inside out. The attacks happened so swiftly and so suddenly, that Ghermiel had been too injured to protect the source of his power. As a result, Ghermiel was left in a horribly weakened state in the Astral Plane for 10,000 years; living solely off of the remnant survivors of the Sundering.
Presently, Ghermiel has begun to rise again. He is no where near the peak condition he was in during the height of the Nervellon Empire, but with more structures, laws, and a growing national identity, Ghermiel may become even more powerful than before.
