Divine Goals & Aspirations

In The Formation, Rheum was tasked to watch over the violence of the multiverse and control its use. Rheum will grant curses or boons to combats which he deems worth his time while simultaneously siphoning violent urges and thoughts throughout the multiverse to maintain the balance of peace and war.
Rheum is a strict warrior god whose control of violence is unbiased and even cruelly administered.

Personal history

During The Sundering, it is believed that Rheum wanted to siphon violence from the conflict in order to maintain the menagerie's stability, but the chaotic nature of the demons was so overwhelming that Rheum had nearly been corrupted into a demon lord himself. So he withdrew from the conflict for periods of time until he could eventually control it for long enough to allow the Wayfarers to end it.
Now, Rheum is weakened and nearly powerless to the power struggle of the world. With the demons leaving behind such a massive power vacuum, Rheum can do little aside from watch and ensure that the coming conflicts are dealt with swiftly and honorably.
