Goblins

  Goblins are a race of small and numerous goblinoids common throughout the entire known world, often living in underground caverns near the surface known as lairs. The race is often, though not always, dominated by other goblinoids, most commonly hobgoblins.   This statement cannot be more true than in the Southern Shelf where the lands are ruled by strength alone most goblins end up latching to stronger individuals in order to survive. However, since the Orarth Clan has come into existence it's more common to see goblins in higher ranks of power. This isn't due to the clan itself but more goblins learning to use their wits and cunning to outsmart rivals. Goblin society is tribal by nature, generally led by the strongest (and sometimes smartest) around, who normally had access to the best weapons. Leaders among the race often came to power through betrayal or aggression rather than by more peaceful means.   In recent years there was a goblin rebellion that was led by Tarblin which was quickly and brutely squashed by the members of the Orarth clan.   Goblins usually stand between 3 to 4 feet tall and weigh about 18‒25 kg on average. They had flat faces, sloped back foreheads, broad noses, pointed ears, and small, sharp fangs. and their eyes varied in color from red to yellow. Their skin color ranged from yellow through any shade of orange to a deep red, though they also come in shades of green. All members of the same tribe normally shared the same skin color Goblins typically dress in dark leathers soiled by poor hygiene and colored in a similar range of tones to their skin

Traits

  Ability Score Increase: Your Dexterity score increases by 2 and your Constitution score increases by 1.   Age: Goblins reach adulthood at age 8 and live up to 60 years.   Alignment: Goblins are typically neutral evil, as they care only for their own needs. A few goblins might tend toward good or neutrality, but only rarely.   Size: Goblins are between 3 and 4 feet tall and weigh between 18‒35kg. Your size is Small.   Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.   Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Fury of the Small: When you damage a creature with an attack or a spell and the creature’s size is larger than yours, you can cause the attack or spell to deal extra damage to the creature. The extra damage equals your level. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.   Nimble Escape: You can take the Disengage or Hide action as a bonus action on each of your turns.   Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Goblin.   Goblins have a great set of racial traits that work wonders for certain builds, let’s go through them one at a time.
