Argos
Argos is the capital of the Everell province of Odessa. While some surrounding farms help supply grain to the rest of the country, many keep aurochs and other livestock and help to provide meat to the city's residents.
As with most of the other capitals in Odessa, the city is split into Districts that separate the economic classes from each other.
A unique feature of Argos is their popular hunter's pub. The hunter's pub is a local tavern where citizens can hire those skilled in getting rid of pesky beasts or other freelance work.
Argos has been under the rule of the Patera family for 287 years. The Pateras took power from the Anocles family after all their heirs were lost to the plague. Karth Patera, the current Duke of the Everell province broke family tradition by marrying a foreigner. While eyebrows rose at his decision to marry a D'jadii woman, the break in tradition did not cause too much of a stir.
To the north of Argos lies the Roinn Mountains. An elaborate cave system spreads throughout the mountain range; however, the fastest way to cross through the Roinn is through the caves to the north of Argos. Travelers and merchants regularly pass through here to one of the cities on either side of these caves.
