Effect

Aesoteric Energy is a unique power system onto itself derived from the Witches in Vanaheim and their Queen, Lady Freyja. The Vanir are god-like beings whose ancestors laid with Archon beings and produced this queer power by happenstance, metaphysical energy closer to the Crucible than Magical Energy. Aesoteric Energy functions in a manner similar to Magical Energy except it has a profound metaphysical effect on all things it interacts with, capable of granting a true death to otherwise Deathless beings.

Side/Secondary Effects

Aesoteric Energy is apart of all Vanir's lives on a daily scale, they are a deeply emotional people and infuse their emotional power into everything they do. A such, they must learn to control their emotional from an early age, as failure to do so can lead to catatrosphere. 

Manifestation

Aesoteric Energy is rainbow-colored, meant to represent each emotion corresponding to a certain color. Spells under this power system are static but take on a certain color depending on the emotions of the Witch casting the spell, which in turn affects the power and ability of said spell. The exact color of a spell (Orange vs Indigo) dictates how a spell will behave and its shade (Light vs Darker) dictates its effectiveness.
The Primary Colors are what combine to make all other colors for spells and have their own emotional weight and meaning.

2. Azure
3. Amber

Spells cast in these colors alone are extremely powerful but lack complexity and call for no skill. They are the rawest and primal of base urges and thus a Witch can more easily call on them for power. However, the true mark of a Witch is to craft spells colored in the hues of the Primary. These Secondary Spells are a grade above the Primary Spells but demand more patience and finesse.

Discovery

The original Vanir were produced when the Archon laid with Mortals and this queer energy ability was embedded in their very genome for all of time.

Applied Restriction

Aesoteric Energy calls for a deep and unfiltered connection to your emotions and how you feel. Should a Witch no longer be able to maintain this connection, they will lose its Aesoteric Energy capabilities.
