The Domain of the Fear-Eaters and the Fall of the VIOLATOR

Initially, the Avalon Realm was called Hræddrfold, and it was the territory of the Fear-Eaters. These beings possessed the ability to absorb immense power from the fear and negative emotions of others, and they were an offshoot of the Emotion Lords from Vanaheim who found pleasure in their corruption. The Fear-Eaters, driven by their insatiable appetite for unchecked desire, created a metaphysical being called The Violator, which embodied their sin and was sustained by their continued supply of fear, anger, agony, lust, and torment. Any Fear-Eater who failed to feed The Violator would perish, and they would subjugate entire species and turn them into livestock to satisfy their endless hunger.

Ironically, the Fearful, a melting pot of subjugated species, became enslaved by the Fear-Eaters, who used them as a means to an end. However, one among the Fearful, a slave girl who called herself Margred, was the first to possess a unique technique that was born from the collective suffering of her enslaved kin. This technique was an array of blinding righteous light that could pierce through the darkness of their existence and pave the way for a new future. Margred rebelled against her oppressors and sparked a great movement by saying, "Let there be light." She led a rebellion that saw the complete annihilation of the Fear-Eaters, for even one surviving Fear-Eater would allow The Violator to revive itself.
