The Shattering, the War that Broke all of Creation
    Celestial / Cosmic

When the God-Eaters were set loose upon Creation and the Celestials were consumed when the Lords of the Unholy Realms were corrupted by Kháos, and when the Mortal Realms were wrought with Demon and Angel alike, the real war for reality was born. It was called the SHATTERING.

Ragnarök, the Day of Judgement was foretold and was to bring about a new age of Order, but Judas had violated God with Kháos, and the very Laws of Creation were tampered with. God would not revive himself all of Creation was in peril. The Angels of the White City tried to stave off this war when they activated The Crucifix, but it was not enough.
The War began with Qri'ric, a Khaos Daemon and Champion of Yig chosen to lead a great Daemonik invasion of the White City to claim the Seven Sacred Seals and user in a new age, one fit for his Khaos Gods. Qri'ric roused the Titans, the Archons, the God-Eaters, and the Oni to his banners and marched against Archangel Metatron, the remaining Angelic Chriors, the Heavenly Host, the Holy Knights, and any divine Pantheons not yet consumed by the God-Eaters.
The War was apocalyptic in scale and shook the very foundations of the cosmos to infinity, the display of arms and Weapons of Mass Destruction and War-Tongues and Magical Spells was something to behold. The amount of bloodshed during this conflict cannot be calculated and the names of the victims are enough to fill billions upon trillions of planetary graves. The real tragedy of the war was that it quickly spilled out of Heaven and even out of the Holy Realms, it fell across creation and forced all the Realms to participate just to survive.
The White City would activate the Crucifix no less than 100 additional times, 100 attempts to push the enemies of Creation back or to punch a hole through enemy forces for tactical objectives. But with each world-shaking weapon used and each reality-bending spell cast, the very walls of Creation, already corrupted by Khaos, grew weaker, and the influence of Khaos got stronger. Attacks and Spells began to lose their potency on Qri'ric and his millions of Legions and Hordes. By the end of the Shattering, the 7 Seals had been stolen and 7 Seal Breakers held the artifacts of immense power.
    Seal Name Seal Breaker Reasoning
Seal of Fundamentalism Qri'ric, of the Temple Of Kháos The Temple stole the Seal in conjunction with Qri'ric, it was taken to a research facility called Demons Run to soak it in Khaos before using it to force Khaos onto all of the other Seals.
Seal of the Space-Time Continuum Cronus, the Titan of Time Cronus stole the Seal to become time itself, the domain he had command over. He became omnipresent, existing in the past, present, and future, across all timelines all at once, forever.
Seal of Souls Ahemait, Devourer of the Dead Ahemait is one of the Punishers of the Dead under the authority of Hel, ruler of Helheim the Kingdom of the Dead. Ahemait acquired the Seal of Souls during the Shattering and feasted on all of the Death caused during the War. She used this new power to usurp Hel and become the new Queen of Helheim.
Seal of Causality ACCOUNTED FOR by Metatron The highest ranking official of the White City, Metatron, retrieved the Seal from its plunders during the Shattering, the only Seal they were capable of reclaiming before the new Fate was written.
The Seal of Unity The Pantheon of 60 Lords of Fate 60 deities who put an end to the war when they obtained the Seal of Unity and used it to write the very fate of creation. They ended the Shattering but effectively removed free will from Yggdrasil.
Seal of Destined Death Kill the Gods and Devour them Whole KTGDW was the leader of the God-Eaters and came to seek the Seal of Death when God's Flesh no longer sustained him. When the mindless one consumed the Seal, he became the Desolation, the Blight upon Creation.
Seal of Conservated Energy Orpheus, the Father of Poetry Orpheus composed a Hymn which could be sung to keep the dying Yggdrasil alive until the Shattering was resolved, he stole the Seal to allow it to be sung forever in perfect harmony, acting as a poor substitute for the Laws of Creation which had been plundered.
The Seal of Unity was stolen by the Pantheon of 60 Lords of Fate who ended the Shattering and enslaved Creation to the Chains of Fate, a machine that controlled the very flow of actions in the cosmos. They repaired and sealed the Gates to the White City, preventing any from trespassing onto the Domain of God and brought about an age of stagnation.

The Age of Kháos

1 1324

Age of the CRUCIBLE, one ruled by the Formless Mother and her 1st Schoolar, Yig. Kháos was all that existed, but even then the concepts of time and reason were slowly beginning to take shape. This age is defined by the uncertainty it reveled in and its climatic conclusion. Information from this age and details of events are scarce and difficult to validate.

The 1st Age: The Holy Order

1325 134268

El-Shinra defeated Yig and erected his heretical Holy Order, the seeds of Yggdrasil were planted, and the cosmos as we know it was made real. This set the binary of creation; KHAOS and ORDER, Yig vs El-Shinra. Their 1st Argument left Yig defeated, but the 2nd Argument would determine the fate of the budding Omniverse. The Holy Order took command of Yggdrasil and ruled it for an age without challenge. via the Seven Sacred Seals, the very Laws of Creation that governed all.

Seal Name Domain Over Function / Purpose
Seal of Fundamentalism Order, Logic, Reasoning The first Seal and the most important, as it serves to inform the other six and acts as the foundation for everything. It is also called the Anchor Seal or the Seal of Mending.
Seal of the Space-Time Continuum Space-Time, Past, Present, Future, Timelines The 2nd Seal is an extremely simple but also complex seal to understand. Also known as the Space-Time Seal or the Kronitic Seal, it separates what happened from what is happening from what could happen.
Seal of Souls Soul, Spirit, Magic The 3rd Seal is very simple as it states that all beings born native to Yggdrasil are guaranteed a SOUL at birth.
Seal of Causality Cause and Effect The 4th Seal is paramount in the act of existence, in defying regression by applying meaning and cause and effect between all things, ideas, and beings.
The Seal of Unity Fate, Destiny, Predetermination Mortals refer to it as a force or feeling nudging them in an ideal direction while some consider it an evasive presence and find joy in defying it, although this too is part of the way. The Seal of Unity acts as a guiding thread for all things in Yggdrasil, laying the blueprint for some great plan that will never be finished.
Seal of Destined Death Death and Endings The 6th Seal, otherwise known as the Reaper's Seals and the Seal of Death. This seal is not difficult to decipher, it states that all beings, big and small, have an expiration date.
Seal of Conservated Energy Energy, Power, Infinity The 7th Seal maintains an infinite amount of finite energy within the cosmos known as Universal Energy, this energy is some of the most basic building blocks of the cosmos, and all other forms of complex energy, if broken down far enough, return to being Universal Energy

The Origin of the Human Race & the First Wife of King Adaximaus
    Life, Milestone

In the realm of Midgard, the omnipotent deity El-Shinra envisioned a planet at the center of the Universe, which he named High Garden. At the heart of this realm grew the revered Yggtree, symbolizing the cosmic order. To inherit and oversee High Garden, El-Shinra created two mortals, Adaximaus and his wife Lilith. While Adaximaus dutifully served his divine Lord, Lilith chose not to submit to El-Shinra's authority, prompting her departure from Adaximaus.

In response to Lilith's departure, El-Shinra bestowed a new wife upon Adaximaus, Evelynn, who faithfully obeyed her divine Lord's commands. Adaximaus and Evelynn, as King and Queen, respectively, became the progenitors of a race known as the First Men. These First Men formed the Kingdom of Man empire and continued to rule the High Garden, where their central responsibility was the care and preservation of the planet-sized Garden, housing the Tree of Eternal Life, and granting immortality to its custodians, the First Men.
Lilith, known as the "Mother of Monsters" for a period, is more renowned for her union with Samael, and her involvement in the creation of the Nephilim, orchestrated alongside Duke Azazel, albeit in a later era.

The Original Sin of the Archons and the Emergence of Witchcraft in Vanaheim
    Miscellaneous

The Archons were a subservient race of entities, specially engineered by El-Shinra with the purpose of establishing the fundamental infrastructure of the Realms of Yggdrasil. Their responsibilities encompassed the creation of these realms, the forging of celestial bodies such as stars, the construction of planets, and the precise arrangement of the atomic structure for all manner of beings. Once their foundational work was completed, the Archons assumed the duty of maintaining these Realms, diligently attending to tasks such as repairing aging realms, reigniting fading stars, expanding landmasses, and regulating the climate.

However, not all Archons adhered to their assigned duties. A specific contingent of Archons entrusted with the upkeep of the Realm Vanaheim failed to fulfill their obligations and instead chose to transgress their given commands. These Archons engaged in relationships with mortal women, the inhabitants of Vanir, ultimately forming unions with them. The consequences of this unholy amalgamation resulted in the emergence of a distinct class of Vanir, beings who exhibited traits closer to divinity than humanity. These exceptional Vanir acquired the capacity to harness the Emotional Matrix, enabling them to wield the Aesoteric Flame of Absolution as a formidable power.
Upon discovery of this sinful act, the Archangel St. Michael and the Lightbringer Lucifer took decisive action, purging the errant Company of Archons responsible for these transgressions. Remarkably, El-Shinra, in exercising forbearance, spared the Vanir from annihilation as they were not culpable for the actions of their progenitors. The Vanir, in turn, referred to the power they wielded as "Witchcraft," a term they adopted to signify the unique abilities derived from their celestial origins.

Lucifer's Failed Rebellion in the White City
    Military: War

The celestial being recognized as Lucifer the Lightbringer, purportedly instigated insubordination within the Angelic hierarchy of the White City, leading to a failed coup aimed at supplanting the Almighty and assuming the title of God. This account is conveyed by St. Michael. Irrespective of the narrative's intricacies, the ultimate outcome remains unchanged: Lucifer and his faction of disloyal entities engaged in a conflict with St. Michael, only to suffer defeat in the end.

Fallen Angel Title Rank Generals Legion / Division
Lucifer The Morning Star Legion Commander Belial, Mammon, Satanas, Samael, Leviathan, Beelzebub, Asmodeus The Ebon Radiance
Belial Without a Master Division Captain Arakiel (Earth of God), Armaros (Cursed One), Asbeel (Deserter of God), Samyaza (he sees the Name) Instruments of Iniquity and Wrath
Mammon The Prince of Possessions Division Captain Azazel (scapegoat of God), Baraqiel (Lightning of God), Batariel (Valley of God), Mastema (hatred) The Legion of Gilded Chains
Satanas Lord of the Inferno Division Captain Chazaqiel (Cloud of God), Daniel (God has Judged), Gadreel (Wall of God), Af (Anger) The Deluders of Miracles
Samael Blindness of God Division Captain Kokabiel (Star of God), Penemue (The Inside), Ramiel (Thunder of God), Hemah (Wrath) The Unholy Chorus
Leviathan Serpent of the Abyss Division Captain Sariel (Prince of God), Sathariel (The side of God), Shamsiel (Sun of God) The Legion of the Deep
Beelzebub The Lord of Flies Division Captain Tamiel (Perfection of God), Kasdaye (the Chaldean), Turiel (Mountain of God) The Order of the Fly
Asmodeus The Lord of Infernal Pleasures Division Captain Yequon (he shall rise), Yomiel (Day of God), Zaqiel (Purity of God) The Revengers of Wickedness
As a consequence of their shattered and vanquished state, these entities came to be known as "The Fallen" and were subsequently banished from both the divine domains of the Holy Realms and the human sphere of existence by the authority of El-Shinra. These exiles sought refuge in a realm now referred to as the Underworld, where they took on titles such as "Dukes" and "Duchesses" to signify their newfound status. No longer regarded as Angels, their offspring were henceforth labeled as "Demons," denoting their lineage and association with Lucifer.
the Primordials stood as embodiments of reality itself, representing the very essence of existence. These personifications were instrumental in the construction of the cosmos, utilized by the Archons in ages past. Among the Primordials, Uranus personified space, while Gaia embodied the land. From their union, 12 children were born at the meeting point of the First Sky and the First Land, and these offspring came to be known as the TITANs.
The TITANs comprised six male beings: Oceanus, Coeus, Crius, Hyperion, Iapetus, and Cronus, alongside six female beings: Theia, Rhea, Themis, Mnemosyne, Phoebe, and Tethys. During the Rebellion, a pivotal event in cosmic history, the TITANs chose to align themselves with the Morning Star, enticed by the promise of a great power under his reign upon the White Throne. Regrettably, this promise remained unfulfilled, as the Morning Star's insurrection was quelled by the forces led by the Archangel St. Michael. The Morning Star and his fallen cohorts were cast out to the Unholy Realms as punishment.
Due to their allegiance to the Morning Star, the TITANs faced a similar fate. Imprisoned within the Realm Tartarus, a minor domain within the broader Realm of Hades, the TITANs found themselves under the watchful eye of Lord Hades, who, alongside his brothers, had sided with St. Michael in the Rebellion.

The Creation of the Nephilim, Weapons of the Abomination Vault
    Celestial / Cosmic

The Abomination Vault serves as an armory of Unholy Weapons of Mass Destruction (UWMD) meticulously crafted by the Dukes of the Underworld, in preparation for the anticipated Day of Judgement. This Vault, hidden within the Domain of Hades, one of the lesser Realms within the Underworld, is securely locked with an Absolution Matrix, ensuring its impregnability until the advent of Judgement Day. Once any Weapons are deposited into the Abomination Vault, retrieval becomes impossible through conventional means. Its name, "Abomination Vault," reflects its purpose—to house Weapons designed for waging war on the Holy Realms, with the potential to unleash devastating destruction.

Among the formidable Weapons within the Vault, the Nephilim stands out as one of the creations credited to Duchess Lilith, wife of Samael, who possesses the Gift of Smithing bestowed by the Dwarf Kings. Lilith utilized this gift to conceive ill-conceived Weapons, and among them were the blueprints for a unique race of beings. The Nephilim were to possess Mortal Souls, yet be forged from the essence of both Angels and Demons—a feat that defied the very fabric of reality due to the metaphysical opposition between these celestial beings. However, Lilith's ingenuity found a way to transcend this boundary, enabling the Nephilim to traverse the Unholy, Mortal, and Holy Realms with unparalleled power. They were imbued with Paracausality, a term denoting forces, beings, and abilities that defied the conventional laws of physics. Each Nephilim became a formidable UWMD, and in total, 10,000 were brought into existence.
While Lilith laid the initial blueprints for the Nephilim, it was the Archdemon Azazel who took on the role of creator, earning the title "Father of the Nephilim." He diligently followed Lilith's designs and brought to life 10 thousand Nephilim. However, Azazel went beyond his role as a mere creator; he personally bestowed individual names upon each of his Children, believing that this act would grant them purpose and the motivation to fight fervently when the impending War arrived. Ultimately, the Nephilim were confined within the Abomination Vault, awaiting the fateful Day of Judgement.

Ragnarök, the Day of Judgement

134269 134862

God is Dead, slain by JUDAS with the Inverted Spear of Heaven and defiled on the Almighty. The Dukes of the Underworld wage the End War with the Legions of Heaven and Kháos Daemons invest the World Tree. This is the Original Sin, from which all sins are now born and all woes are made real.

Judas Kills God on the Almighty and thus the Day of Judgement is Upon Us
    Disaster / Destruction

In the annals of history, the once-revered Prophet Judas Iscariot, tragically ensnared by the dark influence of Yig, became a Scholar of the enigmatic Formless Mother, thus succumbing to corruption and committing an Original Sin. In an audacious act, Judas clandestinely acquired the plans for a potent spear from Duchess Lilith, a prominent figure in the Underworld. Utilizing this knowledge, he crafted the dreaded Inverted Spear of Heaven, infused with the formidable power of Kháos.

Guided by malevolent intent, Judas assembled formidable armies of Kháos, a force imbued with chaotic energy. In an unprecedented display of betrayal and violence, these forces desecrated the once-pure White City and perpetrated the heinous act of murdering the divine figure, El-Shinra, while he sat upon his very throne. Not only did they end his physical existence but, more insidiously, they violated his body and Soul with the overwhelming power of Kháos, causing a profound infection to permeate the very fabric of the cosmos. This ignominious betrayal marked the beginning of what is now known as the Day of Judgement, a cataclysmic event that shook the foundations of existence.
As punishment for this gravest of offenses, Judas was cursed with eternal life, a twisted immortality that would persist beyond the boundaries of sanity and reason. He would endure throughout all ages, witnessing the unfolding of creation even as his own mind gradually erodes. His tormented soul shall find no respite in the Kingdom of the Dead, forever denied the solace of an afterlife. From Judas, a new lineage emerged, known as the Judasites, who are bound to an existence perpetuated through the ages, eternally destined to endure.

The Fated Final Battle, the Morning-Star Strikes down the One Who Is Like God
    Life, Death

In the era known as 134431 κρίση, during the catastrophic time of Ragnarök, the great Day of Judgement, celestial events of immense significance unfolded in both the Underworld and the Heavens above. In those perilous times, when the cosmos trembled with anticipation, the Archangel St. Michael, commander of the Heavenly Legions, received a divine call to confront the treacherous Morning Star and his Fallen Horde of Demons.

As the heavens darkened and portents filled the skies, St. Michael led his magnificent host of angelic warriors through the veils of dimensions, penetrating the realms of the Underworld. Their mission was grave and fraught with danger, for the Morning Star, also known as Lucifer, sought to unleash chaos and devastation upon creation. This confrontation between the forces of good and evil was destined to shape the fate of the universe itself.
Upon their arrival in the Underworld, Michael and his valiant Legions stood resolute, their luminous presence casting an ethereal glow amidst the shadows of darkness. The clash between the Archangel and the fallen Morning Star was cataclysmic, shaking the very foundations of the realm beneath and reverberating up to the highest towers of Heaven. Sparks flew, and the echoes of their conflict rippled across the cosmic tapestry.
In the fields of Esodel, the stage was set for the Final Battle that would determine the destiny of all existence. The Legions of Angels, guided by the unwavering spirit of Michael, descended upon the monstrous Horde of Demons with divine fury. The clash of swords and celestial weapons filled the air, and a tumult of violence and destruction ensued. Blood was spilled like rivers as the two celestial factions locked in an unyielding dance of warfare.
Alas, despite the valor and might of St. Michael, fate had a different design. In a climactic duel between the Archangel and his brother Lucifer, the Morning Star found an opening and seized the advantage. With a swift and cunning maneuver, Lucifer overcame Michael, leaving the once-mighty Archangel to fall upon the battlefield.
The news of Michael's fall reverberated throughout the White City, the divine abode of the Heavenly Host. The hearts of celestial beings were heavy with sorrow as they mourned for their hero, whose radiant wings had been extinguished in the struggle for cosmic balance.

The Period of Purification

134863 167340

At the culmination of Judgement Day, the Angels of the White City resorted to an ultimate measure to secure victory—the activation of a Holy Weapon of Mass Destruction known as The Crucifix. This formidable weapon harnessed a continuous, all-encompassing beam of Holy Energy, radiating through the cosmic structure of Yggdrasil and reaching every corner of the Realms. The unleashed power eradicated the majority of Unholy beings and forced the Demonic Hordes to retreat back into the Unholy Realms from whence they came.

The impact of The Crucifix's Holy Energy was not limited to the Unholy beings alone. Mortals were profoundly affected as well; most succumbed to the potency of pure Holy Magic, resulting in their demise, while others faced severe handicaps and limitations. Remarkably, the Angelic beings remained entirely unaffected by The Crucifix's purifying power, safeguarded by their inherent nature.
This pivotal period came to be known as the Purification Period, a time of great upheaval and transformation across the Realms. Many species were regressed to a more primitive state, and the consequences of The Crucifix's unleashed power left indelible marks on the fabric of existence.

The Absolute Violation of the New Gods and the Death of Man
    Life, Death

There was a man once, Miad Dogar, a man who had been wronged by the Celestials, a crime so heinous and foul he could not forgive it. And so he did not. This was the Purification Period, the time after the Day of Judgement and new Celestials ruled where the Angels once did. And Miad swore vengeance upon the ones who had wronged him, as was his right. He honed his Magic and Sword Logic to perfection until he had the power to slay a God, and so he did. But he found it did not fill his hate and anger which only grew with his resentment of the Gods. And so he hunted and killed and ate the Gods again and again and again and again and again.

When the last of the divines lay dying, their blood and flesh feasted on by an animal who no longer remembered who or what he was, much less why he hungered for god-flesh, the cosmos wept. The dying God, Shiva, as he was being consumed, named the creature "KILL THE GODS AND DEVOUR THEM WHOLE", but the being that was once Miad Dogar, a righteous man on a righteous quest, cared not for titles or names. It was hungry and continued to feast on the god-flesh like a wild animal.
Miad's relentless war against the Gods caused irreparable damage to the fabric of existence. He defiled and obliterated countless divine pantheons. Yet, his insatiable hunger did not end with consuming God's flesh; he now lusted after the Seven Sacred Seals, which governed the very laws of creation. As he devoured the Sacred Seal of Death, he disrupted the fundamental Law of Creation. The Seal of Death had once decreed that all beings must eventually die, but when united with Miad's boundless appetite, he sought to consume every single soul in the omniverse. In this relentless pursuit of souls, he was given a new name: The Desolation, a fearsome plague that halted the souls of the deceased from resting in peace, causing them to rise from their graves as Dragur, unbound and impervious to death's grip.

The Temple of Kháos Steals the First of the Seven Sacred Seals
    Disaster / Destruction

The Temple of Kháos penetrates the White City and sacks the holy land, putting the remaining Angelic beings to the sword. Nearly 200 years after the birth of the Desolation, the Temple escapes with the Seal of Fundamentalism, described as the following

"The first Seal and the most important, as it serves to inform the other six and acts as the foundation for everything. It is also called the Anchor Seal or the Seal of Mending."
With its theft, the remaining Seals lose their anchor and their functionality to a degree. The Temple was repelled by Archangel St. Raphiel to prevent the other Seals from being stolen but without the Seal of Fundamentalism, Order can never be restored to the fractured cosmos.
The Temple lost significant forces in their campaign, but the reward was worth the bloodshed. With the violation of God at the hands of Judas, the Seven Seals were corrupted, but now that they had the foundation Seal, they could use it to impose their own Order of Kháos onto creation and usher in an age fit for their Kháos Gods to rule. The Seal is brought to one of their research facilities in Midgard, Demon's Run, where the process of soaking it in Kháos can begin.

Orpheus, the Father of Poetry, Steals the Seventh Seal of Conservated Energy
    Life, Crime

In the aftermath of the Temple of Kahos' siege of the White City, a massive Demonic Offensive led by Prince Mephistopheles, son of Duke Samael, also sacked the Holy City, which, by now, was serving as a safe haven for Celestials who survived the Desolation and the God-Eaters and any foolish enough to believe the citadels of Heaven itself were safe from ruination. Mephistopheles brook them no quarter or mercy and fashioned himself the new God of Heaven.

Mephistopheles waged war with St. Raphiel and what remained of the celestials over the Seals while a third player entered the fray, unnoticed, the Father of Poetry, Orpheus, and a small fleet of star ships from the Mortals Realms. He was gifted with the Voice as all SKalds were and sought after his prize, the Seal of Conservated Energy. He escaped before anyone knew it was stolen.
"The 7th Seal maintains an infinite amount of finite energy within the cosmos known as Universal Energy, this energy is some of the most basic building blocks of the cosmos, and all other forms of complex energy, if broken down far enough, return to being Universal Energy"
While history teaches us that all of the Seal Bearers were bastardly in some capacity, Orpheus stands out. With the Day of Judgement, the Death of God, the Corruption of the Seals, and now the very Seals themselves being stolen, Yggdrasil was dying. The Laws of Creation were ripped asunder and the cosmos was beginning to collapse in on itself. Orpheus and his College perfected the arts of a Skald and composed a song, the Hymm of Yggdrasil, which served to stave off the end of all things until Order could be restored.
Orpheus was selected to pursue the White City and petition St. Rapheil for his Angelic aid in the task, but when he found Mephistopheles and his Demonic army engaged with the Archangel, Orpheus elected to steal the Seal they needed. With it, he could create the perfect performance of the Hymm and maintain it for as long as they needed to preserve Creation.
