Yllnalore M'Medani

Yllnalore M'Medani is the current Baroness of House Medani and, at 80 years of age and having held the position for 20 already, the youngest in centuries. Unlike most other houses who keep the leader as the most direct descendant of the original marked ancestor, House Medani always has their current leader select their successor based on who they divine will lead the house to the greatest prosperity. With this usually resulting in the choice of one of the obvious, experienced candidates, it was certainly a surprise when Yllanore, a distant cousin who had served out only a few contracts under a Lhazaarian merchant. Her tenure in charge so far has been stable but unspectacular. Her predecessor assured the House that he had seen great things in her future but pressure is mounting on her as doubts grow over the validity of her selection, given his great age at the time. Her quiet confidence though has secured her a loyal following amongst a small circle of loyalists that she has built up around her. Still, she searches for a way to prove herself worthy of the station and expectation placed upon her.
