Vampiric Turning Process
The turning, or transition, process can be viewed as an intimate one. Emotionally Intimate.
A bond is formed between sire and sireling.
The Sire drains the intended Sireling of mortal blood, while also replacing the drained blood with their own. During this process is when bond is formed, between Sire and Sireling.
To perform this process the Sire will cut or bite into their own wrist, assisting the Sireling to drink the blood. While this happens the Sire bites the Sireling, most commonly on the neck, to drain them of mortal blood. This is a slow process lasting many minutes to over an hour.
The slow process allows for the magic in the blood to begin to create the magical connection between the Sire and Sireling.
It is possible to have minimal bond, or connection, this has only begun to happen with development of medicine and its tools.
This method is highly frowned upon and can be punishable by death if discovered, though there are situations it may be allowed. It is in general considered to be highly immoral, and unethical, due to the connection or bond being important in early vampiric life.
Specifics on how this process would work, is using the biting method to drain Sireling, or simply cutting an artery, using needle to drain, or other similar methods. Then using needles in form of syringe or IV's to inject the Sires blood into the Sireling.
It is possible for a bond or connection to be created after, wiht the Sire or another vampire. Just a much harder process. Some bloodlines my slightly alter the turning process, treating is as a formal process or ritual. Specically the Sanguine line is known for this.
