Penalty & Bonus Points

We have mentioned Penalty and Bonus Points several times. Penalty and Bonus Points are simply the amount by which a Test or Opposing roll is influenced in either the character s favor or against him.

For every Bonus Point the character has he adds 1 dice to his dice pool.

For every Penalty Point the character has he subtracts 1 dice from his dice pool.
No Dice Left
If for whatever reason a character's dice pool is reduced to 0 than the character cannot succeed at his test no matter what. The Storyteller should advise this to the player and advise him to chose an alternative action.
Knowing the Value
Most conditions, actions and abilities usually have some form of Bonus or Penalty points which they cause. This can become very hard to track at times especially when there are several factors applying to your character. It is the job of the Storyteller to speed this process up as best as they can and it is the job of the player to assist them. If a Penalty or Bonus Point is missed here or there is is not an issue simply take as part of the chaos that is unfolding.
