Aweshaw Mountains
A series of mountains that circle southeast of the town of Port Lumos and encircle the open cut mine within. Latticed with caves and experiencing some of the highest peaks on the continent, the mountains form an almost unbroken and unnatural circle. The centre of the ring used to be one of the largest oasis of the area, until the mine was formed and the lake was drained into the tunnels of the surrounding areas. Now littered with dust-storms, the drying climate makes mining float stone harder than before and teams have to make perilous journeys into the caves for water.
