The scar of the desert, this rocky cleft was formed by the falling of one of the asteroids circling the planet in the rings. Falling during the 2nd Age, it created a a rift across the desert as the rock fell. Splintering midair it tore into the land, and over the ages the desert rains have had water slowly collect along its rift to produce a small fertile area where animals come to drink during the wet season.
