6th Age

Describing the years of the Hezten Republic, up until the end of the expansion, but not including the segregation period. The pressure of the City States describing the 7th age provided the reasons for the decline of the great land based cities of the Hezten, the last true age to be ground based. During the age contains an event known as the Cracking of the world, and the rise of the beings of Light, from the skies. The 6th age was also the time of the tunnelling, a drive of many of the lowland peoples to recede into the under tunnels of the world. The 6th age saw a decrease in airborne monstrosities, with hunting of them for parts and to clear ready trade paths a major cause of the clearing.   The great open cut mine of Heiser was built in the 6th age, long before the flood of it in the 7th. Dimensional portals were rarer here and they rarely were interacted with anyone but explorers and adventurers. Blue dye was discovered during this age, from alchemical processes refined in this age.
