August

August’s an old spirit, a city of man who came to power as the guardian of the Great Migration. Called Augustine by the old voodoo practitioners then, the spirits had little impact on Chicago before the awakening of the sixth world, but even then Augustine was watching over Chicago. As the Great Migration changed into the foundation for Chicago’s Afrincan American working class, so too did the great spirit change from a spirit of travel to a guardian spirit. Though the Awakening was in 2011, it wasn’t until 2025 that is the first catalogued summoning of Augustine, but by then the spirit chose to be called August. There are rumors of manifestations prior to 2025, but no concrete documentation.
Unforutunately for August, and likely the city itself. he has been bound to McGee's pub in Englewood.
