Hammerhead

Clifton "Hammerhead" Jones is old to be in the gang life, but he's figures he's in just the right place. A card carrying Humanis Policlub member, his fame and fortune, and just the right amount of charisma, help bring more disaffected human kids into the Humanis fold - starting out with his crew, the Troll Killers. He's got a murder record, but got a reduced sentence by playing five years as a Penal Player in the Urban Brawl league. He survived the run as a brawler - no mean feat, and is treated like a local celeb around Chicago.
The Almighty Saviors documented the crimes of the Trollkillers, and dumped all of the information in the lap of the Eagle anonymously. The police rolled up the gang, and they don't even know who was behind it. Those of the gang who are out on bail, including Hammerhead, are under still under house arrest. But Hammerhead is looking hard to find out who burned him.

There was a moment..like this. when I used to blame everything and everyone... for all the pain and suffering and vile things that happened to me, that I saw happen to my people. Used to blame everybody. Blamed humans, blamed society, blamed God. But I didn't get answers doing that because I was asking the wrong questions. You have to ask the right questions.
