In most cases I would excuse the eclectic hiring-practices of a fixer looking to source a competant running-team, but this particular case irks me. No criminal affiliation, acquitted for petty-theft, works at a nursing-home and got involved in Shadowrunning by accident. And despite this, he's shown himself as both willing and able to assist in high-risk shadowruns.

Spectacular talent from humdrum origins isn't exactly a new thing. Remember the High-Riser serial murders? Homeboy was a window-cleaner.

Regardless, Coupe is, despite his peculiarities, a competant enough rigger and getaway-driver to warrant his continued employment, both in the Cabinet and in freelance work. He is a peculiar one, but one that I intend to watch closely. After all, this can't be all there is to him.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

George's physical condition is relatively stable, albeit sedentary and recovering from a recent GRS biosculpt. As far as drone-riggers go his augmentations are quite extensive, with a particular focus on bioware-based augmentations to physical performance, reaction speed and control-rig optimisation.

Personal history

If nothing else, George's history is easy to source. Born in Montgomery Alabama under Johnathan and Linda Oliviera, George was a military brat who spent much of his youth in different parts of the CAS while his father 'fought the good fight' in the armed forces. Showing mechanical aptitude from a young age, George attained an apprenticeship in a Rigger's union in Raleigh NC and worked part-time repairing drones whilst persuing a nursing-degree, eventually combining the two as a dedicated drone-rigger at the Golden Twilight retirement-community, providing around-the-clock drone support to support the independant-living of the residents.

George is something of a poster-boy at Golden Twilight, lots of positive reviews talking about how chatty and upbeat he is with the residents, made me diabetic just reading 'em...

George's first foray into the world of shadowrunning was one nobody expected. Having taken the company-van out to pick up a replacement drone-chassis, the rigger suddenly found several armed career-criminals sitting behind him screaming for him to drive, having mistook his van for the nearby getaway vehicle. Surprisingly, not only did George drive, but he drove well, escaping a persuing force of Minutemen pursuit and doing so without getting his license-plate read. Victory was short-lived however, when frantic comms made it clear that this wasn't our getaway driver, and that our actual driver was still waiting for us.
After a hasty bagging and interrogation, the situation was explained to our illustrious Barkeep who saw opportunity. Our current getaway driver was a subcontractor, someone who would only be in Relaigh for a few weeks at best, and riggers in these parts were a rare commodity. Deals were struck, loans were signed, and in the span of a few hours George had gone from a nursing-home attendant to... well, he still works at Golden Twilight, but now he's balancing it with a new night-job as a Shadowrunner.

Education

Coupe's education is pretty unremarkable, high-school graduation with a rigger's apprenticeship and nursing-degree under his belt. 100% attendance-rate, mind you.

Employment

George is currently employed a drone mechanic and rigger at the Golden Twilight retirement-community, and is a contracted shadowrunner on the side.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Being the freshest face in the group, most of Tripshift's accolades so far have been summed up as 'congratulations, you didn't fuck up'.

Failures & Embarrassments

Conversely, aside from some spectacularly bad parking-jobs Tripshift has yet to cause any serious troubles for us.

Morality & Philosophy

Coupe's morals are something I find especially peculiar: On the surface, he's an almost cartoonishly squeaky-clean person, showing legitimate shock that we as shadowrunners sometimes break the law for (gasp) selfish purposes. Despite this, there's simply no doubt that Coupe is habouring some very hedonistic and adrenaline-inclined wants that sometimes overtake his desire to cause no harm.

Motivation

Coupe's professed motivations appear to be centered around financial gain, stating that nursing-home paychecks simply won't suffice in his personal wants, but has also privately confessed a sense of addiction towards the tension and occasional action of shadowrunning.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Coupe's primary contribution to the team is his skills as a rigger and mechanic, having shown the reflexes and mental agility needed to remotely pilot drones for combat and reconnaissance purposes to very high standards, and navigate vehicles around the streets of Raleigh with ease despite impedeing elements. Coupe is especially talented in applying his proficiency with multitasking towards 'swarm' based drone tactics, favouring numerous smaller drones in combat over one larger drones to overwhelm hostilities with sheer overwhelming firepower. As of writing this, his most glaring fault has so far been his inexperience as a shadowrunner, making regretable decisions based off of only what he knows of shadowrunning and criminal activities from various media he consumes.

Likes & Dislikes

Coupe's interests outside the job are predictably centered around engineering and motorsports, with a noted fascination in the 'hobby' of visiting and obsessing over various local cuisines.
