Eva Weston
Ms. Eva Olivia Weston
Written by: Tahoma
As far as the financial giants in Raleigh go, Eva Weston is a breath of fresh air in how unapolegetically simple she is in her desires: She's the CEO of a growing PSC who wants power and money, and is more than happy to hire deniable assets, like us, to make it happen. Her day-job is managing the affairs of Dragoon Tactical Investments Ltd., but on the side she has a few cosmetics and skin-care lines astro-turfed into all sorts of radical 'non-conformist' brands, and equally likely to have shadowrunners brought in as any of the bigger proverbial fish she's frying up.Unusually, Weston herself likes to be present during negotiations between shadowrunners and her personal Mr Johnson, either nearby in-person or in an encrypted conference-call. A true micro-manager...
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
The dame takes care of herself, is all I'm saying, must be those skincare products she hocks. Eva's about what you'd expect from a pampered dwarf woman with a few decades under her belt, save for some cosmetic procedures.

Personal history
Born a native of old Mexico, Eva was the precious and genetically-optimised daughter of Lucas and Marc Jonez, the former being the guy who'd become a short-lived but famous spokes person for Stuffer Shack's infamous 'Strike down the others' campaign but otherwise stayed out of the limelight as a talented PR consultant. On top of all the prestigious schooling you'd expect from someone as financially set as the Jonez's, he took time out of his busy day to teach his heir the ins and outs of business and public-relations, hoping she would one day become as famous as her papa.
There's still trid footage of a young Eva in one of those weird pep-rally things. Gives me the creeps, but I'm not sure if that's intentional or not...Well, he got the wish, in a roundabout way. When Eva was on the cusp of adulthood, Lucas recieved encrypted commlink message from an anonymous source at aproximately 10PM, telling him to pack the essentials for him and his family and wait in the middle of their living-room. Despite calling for HTR from a dedicated line in their panic-room, security footage shows the family complying with the anonymous request and standing in the living-room. After a minute, the entire security-network for the gated community the Weston family called home went kaput, and all three of them were gone.
The Shadowrunning team responsible did a good job disrupting live feeds but made the amature mistake of forgetting about the buffer-nodes. Props to how fast they were in and out, but they deserved their subsequent dissapearance.Eva and her parents were the victims of a shadowrun, a classic extraction-job. Lone-star wanted Lucas' talents as a PR expert and weren't willing to take no for an answer, but were nice enough guys to at least let him bring along his family. After they were given a very convincing argument to switch sides, Lucas was given some minor cosmetic procedures and a new identity, and began work as Luke Eton in Seattle. Even back then, extractions were kind of a thing you accepted as a risk of being good at your job, and while he grumbled about the whole thing Luke didn't resist the change much. If nothing else, he was with his husband and daughter. Eva on the other hand, despite playing nice for years, would eventually show she still held a grudge for the grief Lone-Star caused her family. On the eve of new year's 2061, a gas-fire was started in the Eton's penthouse apartment that spread unusually quickly before emergency services arrived. Three burnt corpses were found on the scene, but later investigation showed none of the dental-records matched the the family. Eva had, without any suspicion from Lone Star, arranged for her own extraction. Once again taking a new name, Eva was relishing in the profitable deal made with Dragoon Tactical Investments Ltd. to be their new company spokesperson, and eventually CEO with the retirement of Gabriel Hampton. A good hustle, if I say so myself.
Education
Eva's educational pedigree reads like something out of a cartoon about rich Aztlans, topped with a full degree from the St Michelle University of Business in Maine.
For those not in the know, St Michelle takes in only a few dozen students every four years, placements going to the highest bidder.
Employment
Eva started off as an intern for the Stuffer Shack regional-headquarters, quickly and ignonymously followed by an equally unimpressive internship secretary position at Lone Star's local offices. Post-extraction to Dragoon, Ms. Weston finally got the boardroom seat she thought she deserved in short order and only got bigger from there, now sitting as CEO of a PMC and a handful of her own smaller enterprises.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Despite it's not-very-legal nature preventing Eva from bragging about it, it's no secret that Eva prizes her years-long plan to self-extradite herself and her family out of Lone Star's hands and its faultless execution.
Failures & Embarrassments
But conversely, she also seems pretty bitter about how long it took to get it all into place, which probably explains her current micro-managing tendancies.
Morality & Philosophy
It'd be stretch to call Eva outright evil, but I'd also feel bad calling any CEO good. Eva's morality is ultimately self-serving in its entirety, save for soft-spots to her family, but she's got enough of a head for long-term planning to take pride in not going out her way to kick puppies for a laugh.
Wealth & Financial state
Put it this way, she's rich enough that trends follow her. Despite spending every penny on a quasi-legal extraction, Eva remade her losses and than some in short time, currently holding a net-worth somewhere in the mid hundred-millions.
