Typhon Munitions Synergist Sniper-Rifle

I hate this gun. It's a good gun, a real good gun that I want, don't get me wrong, but I feel like a fucking class-traitor just holding it.
The Synergist is the first firearm made by bespoke weapons-manufacturer Typhon Munitions back when they operated under the name 'Bartlett Arms', and set the standard for their guns. It's a caseless, semiautomatic rifle made for what the corp calls 'proactive defence of high-priority VIPs', counter-sniping basically. It'll cost you the same as any other high-end rifle just to rent it, let-alone buy the damn thing, but any security-corporation that can afford the thing swears up and down that it's worth the money when in its element, and I'm inclined to believe 'em.
The receiver's some complicated high-maintenence drek that'll misfeed if you so much as think dirty thoughts, but you're not gonna be using it outside of air-conditioned rooms anyway. Between that and a beautifully hand-machined free floating barrel though, you're easily gonna be getting <0.6MOA accuracy, and then you'll be able to repeat it with a quick follow-up shot thanks to this girl's recoil dampening components built into the receiver.

The recoil-dampener is partly what solidifies the Synergist as a short-to-medium range precision rifle, rather than an extreme range sniper. The ideal setup for this rifle involves a gyro-mount in lieu of the usual bipod, to minimize recovery-time between shots.

Another downside to keep in mind along with the others: This is, as I said, a counter-sniping weapon, and generally made for the kind of distances you'd expect in an urban enviroment, which are outright cosy compared to general sniping ranges. Its chambered in a pretty modest caliber, but the high pressure tolerances mean you can go high on the grain and punch through most types of armor reliably enough, which suits me just fine.
