The beating, rotten heart of Raleigh in its entirety, this is where the seats of government and corporate interests in the city can be found. The Capitol Building and its neighbors might be modest compared to the rest of the city, but it's nigh-impossible to see through the towering forest of skyscrapers, shopping supercenters and luxury residencies. A sprawl at its best, and at its very worst.
