Once a city of its own, Durham has been subsumed into the gnawing maw of Raleigh and shaped into the grounds for the city's richest individuals and groups to spread their arms in luxurious space. Private parks and low-density housing surround Raleigh's most prestigeous schools, medical facilities and arcologies, a silent mockery of the common folk that live like sardines in a can.
