Lizbit rolled her eyes, "You think the kids are weird at J.J.s? You should see some of these kids at Spielberg's. We get the same shit with but then you add a dash of money cliques from the The Hollow ."
Candy blinked. "Are you trying to one up me?"
The two girls stared at each other, Candy narrowing her eyes as Lizbit leaned back with a smirk.
"Oh jeez, Candy," her sister said, playfully jabbing an elbow into her rib. "She's just saying it's crazy on the west side, too. Which sounds to me like she wants in on this."
Candy yelped and scooted away from Taylee, glaring before turning back to Lizbit. "Fine," she said, her tone sharp. Then she rolled her eyes. "Fine, yeah, I mean... it's content and more content's good and it doubles our audience."
Their cousin grinned, her teeth gleaming out from the black lipstick that coated her lips. "Thanks. Awesome. I already know who I'm writing about first."
Taylee looked between them and giggled. "This is gonna be fun.

Structure

Candace Bowen is the "founder" of the NEG and considers herself to be the owner/CEO of their journalistic endeavor. In her mind, she's the boss and her two "employees" cover the two main high schools in New Eindie. For their part, her sister Taylee and their cousin Lizbit are happy to contribute. From time to time, Phoebe Valeli runs some of their articles in her column.

The NEG's purpose is to chronicle any strange phenomena in New Eindie, and follow the rumors behind the city's weirdest kids.

History

Candace and Natalie Bowen want to be journalists. Between them, Candy provided the drive to get the pair started on a "blog," and Taylee's exuberance netted a few dedicated followers. They roped their cousin in early on and it wasn't long before their blog caught the attention of junior news reporter Phoebe Valeli.

Now, three years later, the NEG is the most popular blog that originates from New Eindie.
