Foundry District

This is the center of the heavy manufacturing for the Metro area, along with some medium duty manufacturing, a variety of service based industries, and lower to middle level residential and retail areas. Much of this area is comprised of a few large industrial complexes, such as steel foundries and mills, an oil refinery, a couple of large chemical and plastics plants, and other manufacturing often thought of as heavy or dirty.
