Grand Isle District

This area has from middle class to upper class residences, as well as a range of retail and service based industries, including a casino that is managed by a local tribal council of Native Americans, and two small stadium type arenas. One is home to a minor league baseball team and holds outdoor concerts through the summer months, while the other is an indoor arena that is used by a semi-professional hockey team, as well as for a variety of events throughout the year. It is also home to the largest of the two private universities located within the Metro area, Masterson University (MU). This large island is linked to the mainland by two very busy bridges.
