The Hub District

This area tends to be primarily medium to heavy manufacturing as well as lower to middle class residential and retail, as home to a variety of service based industries. It is also the transportation center of the Metro area, being home to an international airport, a large rail and intermodal yard, several large trucking firms also operate out of this part of the city, as well as docks for shipping and great lakes ship maintenance.
