1-POINT PULLING STRING
PREREQUISITE: INFLUENCE (ANY)
A character can gain access to a laboratory or workshop of any particular type. No roll is required for a Poor Quality workspace. A Routine Admin/Legal or Routine Persuasion check grants access to an Normal workspace, two levels a Good Quality one, three levels an Excellent one, and four or more Success Levels a Superb one. The character has access to the place for one week. Each additional week requires a repeat of the check. Each workspace is dedicated to a single field; obtaining a place with multiple fields incurs a step penalty per additional field. Of course, using the workspace can draw the attention of other workers in the area. Private use adds an additional step penalty and may require the character to work late in the evening or early in the morning. The Referee may decide that certain facilities are not available in the area (there are only so many particle accelerators in existence, for example).
