Brief Overview:

This report details the events surrounding Operation Veiled Nexus, which was initiated due to the loss of contact with Humming Apollo. The primary objective of the mission was to recover an anomalous compass that Humming Apollo's Team had been asigned to recover. Secondary objectives included determining the status of Humming Apollo and his agents, and if alive facilitating extracting them to safety.

Opperation Details:

Six days ago, Humming Apollo Cell was dispatched to retrieve the anomalous compass from agents belonging to Majectic 12. During the recovery operation, the team retrieved the compass but sustained injuries and reported that they believed they were being pursued by both Majectic 12 and another unknow party. As a precaution, they opted to go dark to evade potential capture. That was four days ago

Two days later, Humming Apollo missed his scheduled check-in with Central. This raised concerns about their well-being and the status of the team. As a result, our team, was dispatched to investigate the situation under the cover of an FBI internal investigation.

Upon investigation, the team discovered that Humming Apollo had taken cyanide concealed within the frame of his glasses, leading to his demise. Evidence found at the his apartment subsequently led the team to the operations center of his team and then to their safe house. Upon contact, the other team initially approached our agents with caution, but after verifying their affiliation and providing proof of who they were, they surrendered the compass and accepted medical aid for their wounded members.

Conclusion:

The successful recovery of the compass while keeping the matter fully concealed is a significant achievement. The loss of Humm,ing Apollo is regreatable, the safe return of the majoraty of his team is welom news. It is imperative that we safeguard the compass and ensure the well-being of our agents. Further investigation into the intentions of the unknown parties pursuing the compass is recommended.

Handler's Recommendations:

• Compass Handling: Given that the compass appears to be sought after by unknown parties, it is recommended that we avoid moving it. As a smokescreen, initiate the leak of information suggesting that the compass has been retrieved by unidentified groups. This will help divert the attention of potential adversaries.
• Team Reassignment: Until the status of Trecovered agents cover is determined, reassign them as friendly support to our team. Assign a tertiaty team to watch them for signs that other parties are interested in them.
