Welcome to Shakiraverse

You may have stumbled in this place as you followed a beam of neon light, maybe you opened a door through which the rumble of giant speakers could be felt, or you acquired the key to your own heart and found this place inside. Maybe you just clicked on an elusive URL, though this last one sounds unlikely: Shakiraverse is all about being E X T R A, anyway.

What is Shakiraverse

You have arrived into a multi-planar universe made of Shakira. All of the planes contained on it are also made of Shakira, as you and I are when we are on it. Each of the planes of Shakiraverse reflects a piece of her heart and mind and conglomerate together to form a distinct shape, a tune, and a theme.   But Shakira is not the only deity or the only force of nature on this universe. Songs fill each corner, and the songs may be from other gods and goddesses, shaping the universe in ways even they didn't predict, as the planes take them and turn them into new things.

The Planes

The Shakirian Plane of Horror

"Her deepest fears, her wildest nightmares, all reside here"
Be watchful of sweet metaphors on love songs. They can turn against you and against everybody on this plane. The plane of horror is full of monsters condemned to seek their true love forever and things lurking on the shadows. Run if you can, though you may have to do that on bare feet.

The Shakirian Plane of Love Stories

They say She created this plane trying to emulate those eyes. So deep is her need to live in them.
This is the plane of love stories. Cheerful and embracing, or dramatic and heartbreaking, they live here, as she walks this plane, again and again, searching to see them again.

The Shakirian Plane of Fantasy

And the music and the echo of the music went out into the Void, and it was not void
— JRR Tolkien, The Silmarillion
Maybe, at some point, her holiness was a fan of high fantasy. Maybe she wasn't. What is true is that a piece of her formed into this place full of magic, of marvellous creatures, blue princes and one or two dragons.

The Shakirian Plane of Murder

It's human nature.
— Madonna
Rage, intrusive thoughts and irrational fears were all condensed into the Shakirian plane of slashing. Close your doors and windows, and pipe drains and toilets. Find a nerd friend which is good at computers and make sure to take them everywhere, this may give you a better chance at surviving this plane.

The Shakirian Plane of Mysteries

Truth serums made from hips. Looking for clues hidden on popsicles and lipsticks. Was the murdered in the middle of the crowd during the concert? Was him a Womanizer? Was he Toxic? In the Shakirian plane of noir crime and mystery, if you want answers, you will have to work, bitch.

The Shakirian Plane of Monsters

Gnarly monsters and seductive leech-men reside on this place, as do the hunters that try to get rid of the bane of the towns before they can get too close to the unsuspecting and eerily poker-faced schoolgirls.

The Shakirian Plane of Sci-Fi

One day, the inhabitants of this vast and tall shakirian plane found a way to turn songs into fuel. And it all skyrocketed from there: They are now Swimming in the Stars.
In a universe where no activity is left without background music, the future is now.

The Shakirian Plane of Reality TV

"She breasted boobily to the stairs, and titted downwards"
— Scottbaiowulf
Is there a thing that screams "Popstars" more than Reality Tv, Badly written erotica, gossip and petty drama? Oh yeah. Lots of things. There isn't much of a connection in there at all. It doesn't matter. In her might, the Cosmic Force Shakira has a place in her heart for all of these.

What lies ahead

Think twice before you take a song for granted on Shakiraverse. They resonate on each corner of the worlds, from the bottom of the ocean to each pot in each kitchen. But sometimes the song was not telling the story you wanted it to tell and sometimes, the planes distort the song and make it something else. You may visit a song on one plane and come the other way with a bright smile and a cheerful tear, just to scream and run away from the same song as you set a foot on the next plane. Be on your toes, pop icons are a force to be reckoned.

Meet the Authors

"It was a sunday afternoon, I was talking with a friend, things got out of hand, Shakira is a universe now. I don't even listen to Shakira."
— TC
"Wild things happened, and then I got here chasing my guilty pleasures. Don't quote me on this"
— Naelin

They say new people may be chosen to write the secrets of the Shakirian Planes at some point in the future. Keep your eyes open, keep your ears on guard.
