Coven Horror

The Coven Horror is the result of multiple witches who ahd made pacts with a demon and failed to live up to their end of the agreement. The witches were fused to each other and to the wailing bodies of children sacrificed in the name of that demonic patron, a constant reminder of their failure. Each head of the horror is in charge of the main trunk, but they will frequently snap at either of the two heads if they feel that the other is too close to their own. (Credit: u/Jaconian)

Coven Horrors seem to end up in Acroshia with unusual frequency. The Great Desert is an easy place to wander compared with the Abyss, though the prey is less abundant and satisfying to silence. Coming across one of these horrors in the dunes is often sufficient to hamstring the opposition, its very gaze stripping travelers of their wits and their will. They'll need both, and more, in order to survive a battle with one of these.
