Golden Grace
Golden Grace is a nickname for certain individual situated in Seth. It is a woman of high status from one of the noble families of Acroshia. She appears to be human, around her late 20ties or early 30ties. However that may not be entirely true, as it is not a secret that Golden Grace was here over 100 years ago and still pretty much look the same.
Her true name is Livertia Ma Graece, and she is around 130 years old Clockwork Soul Sorceress. Her main abilities focus around bending time, space and probability, as that is also her area of expertise and longitudinal studies. At first glance, she is noble in name and property only, which means that her role is not really to “lead” or “rule”, but she has certain ties to the higher ranking nobles.
Motivation and goals: Golden Grace has but one long-standing goal. At first glance its just something pure academic. Research about “old things”, ruins, artifacts. Something a normal scholars or antiquarians do, for some nobles but a hobby. Her goal however, is to research and look into knowledge, that would allow her to tame the ever-twisting arcana to her will. Basically, she is trying to tame the magic in Shar, believing that the key to this is trough understanding, and this understanding is still hidden by the times long forgotten. Way before dark ages. She is trying to get to the very beginning of creation one could say.
Main activities:
• Golden Grace commissions adventurers to search for and recover different kinds of artefacts, old books, ancient magical objects, bodies of monsters as well, also to scout old ruins or temples. At times her objectives being very specific, as she also have her own team of scribes that work as “frontier scouts” that are looking for places like this
• Grace works in private, putting the knowledge adventurers bring her together, experimenting and studying. She is basically a scientist, scholar of sort.
Character / Temperament:
Livertia is to certain extend a lawful neutral character. She does not really follow all the rules that are set in front of her by her authorities which are not many, but devotion to her studies and experiments, to finding the “how” and “what” is almost absolute. One could say she found her “calling”. This lady is quite curious, as even the small most simplistic thing can peak her interest and sparkle a stream of questions. Golden Grace likes to understand people, situations and pretty much everything that is happening around her. She likes to go deep in this understanding, for that is the one characteristic that all good scholars have.

• would rather not answer at all than tell a lie, but small lies that help avoid prolonged conversation with idiots are quite acceptable in her book

History:
Livertia Ma Graece was born in an age of Five Kings that ruled the Acroshia, to a family of lesser noble at that point. Her family however didn’t really had any real estate or property. Living ona court, more of a laughing stock than equivalent to others. Even Livertia basically sold as a – to be bride. Not that different from slave, just with more fancy clothing and a fake title to her name. Not so fake husband. She was married at the age of 12, and it was not marriage from love. She always despite her first husband since this is not a nice word and abusing 12 year old is apparently a good sport for certain kind of people. But she bid her time, sure.. endured, waiting for an opportunity. And it came, eventually. By a chance itself, or maybe some higher power had its hand in it, but magic in Shar is unpredictable, and Livertia was always fascinated by it. Studied it even, as much as she could. Always more of an academic studies, not really believing she could wield such power. But she could. In her 23 ye, at one of those nights when her husband was quite drunk and forceful, she blew him up.
To be fair she did just tried to polymoprh him, it went bad, fumbled and his body temperature rose to the degrees his cloths actually catch fire and soon after that, a splash, explosion of brain blood and gore. She never married again, didn’t had time to, nor the will.
She survived change of the regime since as a disowned noble, no commoner or slave actually knew much about her. None really cared. She was too unimportant to be executed. When army of rebels stormed the castle she was habitant to, they found her locked in some tower, as a prisoner. One could even mistook her for a commoner, slave? She did not correct her “rescuers” however, since she saw what they did to others of her status and had really strong need to not get burned on a stick, after some hard lashing or wheeltorturing or whatever a vengeful mind can come up with.
Thanks to her intelligence and knowledge however, she rose up from those rebels to the place of power. Kingdom of Acroshia had to be re-established after all and anarchy is not really good system of a government. So she became one of the “some” new nobles that were responsible for the city of Seth.
In recent decades however, she stepped down from her position to focus on her studies. Pouring most of her resources into it as well. She became to be known as a Golden Grace, synonym or a nickname, that act as a mask, hiding her identity just for the sake of comfort.
