Lurker

Often found in urban sewage water or swaps, the lurker is a tactical predator with a horrifying appearance. Hiding underneath the murky surface, the creature uses its long hardened tail to ensnare victims walking too close and pulling them down. Easily dismantling them with it’s scythe-like arms. It then inserts it’s long worm-like tongues into the victim to plant it’s eggs while the corpse is still hot. The larva are born within hours of implantation, and quickly begin to grow as they devour the corpse.
