Maneater Pig
In Acroshia, just about everything is a little more difficult, even farming. While most livestock reach adulthood a recognizable size and shape, every now and then a domesticate just refuses to stop growing, becoming more unruly and aggressive with each unnatural pound until they become too enormous and wild to contain. Acroshian hogs seem particularly susceptible to this horrific overgrowth; about one in fifty will grow to the size of a warhorse, their appetite swelling to proportions which refuse to be placated by corncobs and slop. These great porcine beasts become impossible to satisfy, and will gladly eat anything they can overpower, including their fellow pigs and, inevitably, their caretakers. Farmers who have never dealt with a Maneater before are often tempted to let them continue to grow in the hopes of harvesting a real bounty come the Day of Slaughter, failing to account for the beast's equivalently growing strength and viciousness, and many pay for that mistake with their lives, if not their entire farms. If they should manage to bring it down, they will find to their disappointment that the meat tastes unaccountably filthy.
