Tamaryl

Tamaryl'sho is a Ryuven, the powerful Pairvyn ni'Ai (see Ai ) who became increasingly disenchanted and frustrated with the changing Ai emphasis on raids and what he saw as their harmful effects on even Ryuven society, destabilizing social roles and leading che and sho to put themselves and others in danger while rewarding poor management which led to more hunger which led to more raids. He abandoned his position and hid for his life in the human world with Mage Ewan Hazelrig, disguised as a young human slave to avoid notice. His clandestine aid advanced the Circle's magical research, including into the Shard of Elan, and enabled the development of the shield.
