Bones of the First Demon

The Bones of the First Demon were said, as the titel indicates, to be the few remaining bones of one of the very first demons to exist, arranged into a powerful altar. It has belonged to several of the most powerful demons to be and has served as a lynchpin in many invasions. Dozens of worlds have fallen to demons because the very planet itself was corrupted by the presence of this artefact, rapidly transforming anything alive into new demons. And any demons can become as strong as a prime demon by drawing upon its magic.
Thus, the demons who wield it do so carefully, lest someone turn it against them. The Bones have no allegiance and more than one demon tyrant have fallen when their enemies managed to use its powers against them.

The Bones of the FIrst Demon are an incredible font of qliphoth, the magic that fuels demons. It greatly accelerates the corruption of the land itself wherever it's placed and any demon drawing on it can become near immortal.

History

The bone were ancient beyond belief. No one can say for certain where they originated, only that they passed from prime demon to prime demon, each benefitting from its power.
It appeared in 409 AW, brought to the planet Dunia by the summoning of the prime ahriman Bikku-Lum, who in turn allowed it to be used by the arch adze Onyesha. However, that year during the Invasion of Alderwood, the elf Jhanandra Helemaer lead a counter attack against the demons. To Onyesha's surprise, Jhanandra seemed to have detailed information on their positions and capabilities, allowing the elf to lead her followers with frighteningly effeciency. Onyesha, who had been on the front lines, turned around with her elite guard, but couldn't stop Jhanandra from seizing the Bones of the First Demon and absorbing a large amount of their power, transforming herself into an arch demon on the spot. Onyesha was defeated in the subsequent duel and the Bones vanished alongside Jhanandra.

Significance

The Bones of the FIrst Demon first of has a great cultural significance to demon-kind, as they are said to belong to some of the very first and most powerful demons. Whomever holds it are held in great esteem.
