The 13 Sons of the Celestial Father

The twelve men and women who have been placed in charge of Judging the rest of humanity, when they pass through The Starlit Sepulcher. By examining karma, magical potential, physical fitness, and mental resiliency, they alone dictate what one is given to start within the Questing Fields.

Structure

The 12 are all equal to each other in theory, in practice they take orders from the first. When meeting they either use their numbers or weapon they were assigned by their god. With there being more members of the group, they all split responsibility between enforcing Mu's will and helping train the classes for their evacuation.

They are the arms of the god trapped in the The Mechanism. They plan to take humanity from the earth and test them in the Questing Fields.

History

The Twelve above started simply as twelve scientists who studied the The Mechanism, the Megastructure that enclosed the earth at the start of the 20th century. They managed to communicate with the intelligence inside the machine, which gave them a directive and a goal. When the ARPANET project was hooked into the golden machine, no expected the signal to pass perfectly through it. From there, they have been using the internet and their god to manipulate humanity to be ready to abandon the earth.
