Shattered Isles

The world is old and yet new again. Civilizations rise, become legend, fall into ruin to make way for new ones to rise in their place. legends fade into stories fade into myths fade into obscurity. The world turns on and on regardless.     This world has seen numerous great cataclysms over the ages, the most recent being the Chaos Wars 300 years past. The sapient races are only now beginning to come out of their remaining few cities. The land is mostly wild and untamed and forgotten ruins abound. This is an age of exploration: discovering lost realms, forgotten history and unbridled adventure.
