Background
The Shattered Sphere world is a world based loosely around 5e Dungeons and Dragons concepts with most if not everything changed in some way through the power of homebrew worldbuilding.
The world of Shattered Sphere lends its name from its creation: a tale of powerful beings long ago devolving into war and nearly destroying reality as we know it. In order to protect future life and existence, a small group from both sides of the conflict came together and began work on ways to separate magic from the world to ensure that this destruction could not come to pass.
Their plan, once carried through, destroyed the order that existed, separating reality into many different planes so that the full power of Arcaneum was not accessible to those living in any one plane. The separation would be known as the Shattering of the Sphere to modern historians and researchers.
This group is now known as the Primary Aspects, a group of dead gods whose corpses reside somewhere in the Aetherion. These bodies possess a fragment of the power they once held, and from those corpses the power of the Living Gods is drawn.
Enaith
Enaith is the primary planet around which the Shattered Sphere is focused. It is a planet with a singular yellow sun, much like Earth, as well as 2 moons in its orbit, one much larger than the other. A curious feature of these moons is that the smaller orbits the larger, leading to periods of time throughout the year where it appears that there is but a singular moon in the sky.
Enaith is a diverse and large planet, consisting mostly of oceans with a number of continents, but the most well known in Centralia. It is a diverse continent featuring many different environments, cultures, species, races, and more.
Currently, little is known of the other continents as they have been lost due to the Great Conjunction, an event in which an Archdemon and his council of mortals nearly collapsed the planes together in a great planemeld. The world never quite recovered after this leading to a far more dangerous reality on both land and at sea.
After the hundreds of years of recovery, most history of the other continents has been lost. Additionally, once you lose sight of land, the massive oceans threaten to swallow you whole as they are fraught with sea beasts and worse.
However, there are tales of safe passages, as well as ships and weapons that might be strong enough to brave the trip and make it to one of the other continents.
