Chainsword Mark 2 version

A nasty looking blade with chains and sharp spikes portruding from the edge, supported with a carved and engraved oaken and steel handle. A blue gem in the center of the handle shines with faint magical power and seems to be part of a mechanism that can be pushed.
As a bonus action you can activate the sword. The blade can be powered for minute a day, after which the gem needs 24 hours to recharge.

• While activated the sword has a +1 on attack rolls, damage rolls and deals 1d4 extra slashing damage
• This does not count as a magical weapon for overcoming resistances, but does for enchantments
• Whilst activated, you have a -10 on stealth checks as the blade spins noisily
• Whilst wielding the blade, you are considered deafened

Proficiency with a longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
