Arcane Triumvirate

The Arcane Triumvirate was a trio of three mages who fought during the War of Ashes. They were Hrothgar, Champion of Veritas, Archmage Visya, and Malkor the Magister. Early in the war they served as bulwarks against the demon tides, however over time they fell one by one. Hrothgar was the first to fall, having been corrupted by demons, he revealed secrets leading to the death of Benedictus and was never seen from again. Malkor the Magister went mad in his search for more power, eventually succumbing to corruption. Visya was the only one to make it through the war uncorrupted, and went on to find the heir to Renvere, leading to it being reestablished as a nation state.
