Balashova

A city state in the Celestine Empire known for its fur trade, gambling, and collesium. The city is split into two distinct parts, the Old City and the New City. The Old City is more or less in ruins, the product of years of conflict and several massive fires. Many of the structures there are unsafe and it is barely suited for living, although many of those unable to afford homes do make it by there. The New City is mostly new construction. When Balashova joined the Empire, wagons of gold and skilled masons and stoneworks from the Imperial City came with it. They worked to rebuild a new suitable city for the people of Balashova that could afford it.
