Captain Brinestone

Captain Brinestone is one of the most renowned pirates in all of the Mortal Realm. For more than 60 years he has been a plague on the Stillwater, Rising Sun, and Seadragon Seas. He is known for having a penchant for targeting Celestine merchant ships, as well as other pirates ships not sailing under his flag. He never ventures into the Celestine Sea itself, many believing this due to it being too easy for the Empire to cut off his escape.

He personally captains one of the largest ships on the oceans, the Hell Razor, with a crew nearing one thousand, and armed with over one hundred enchanted canons. Brinestone has never seen defeat on the sea, and he rarely leaves those alive if they choose to fight instead of surrender. The ships and their captains that pay him tribute are rumored to be over one hundred, only outnumbered by the Tenari fleet, although he never sails them as a fleet.

He has based his operations out of the lawless Cutwater Isles, and rarely leaves the ship himself, causing legends of his appearance to grow. Some believe that Brinestone is simply a title passed down from captain to captain, due to his longevity, although there has never been confirmation on this.
