Duskstone

Duskstone is a small town in the north eastern part of the Celestine Empire.  It is administered by Balashova, and after the Empire defeated the warlords in the area a Duskstone was resettled.  The remnants of a town from before the war were settlted by a group of missionaries helping to find a home for the deaf and blind.  The grey, drab stone buildings that give the town its name have been modified to add stone braille to the outside.  Over the years the lack of economic oppurtunity lead to the Empire removing its garrison of troops and along with most of their cultural presence.  About a third of the town is abandoned, with the only new residents usually being travelers also affected with deafness or blindness looking for a safe community.  There is a sizeable of dwarves here, many from families displaced by the war without a connection to any particular dwarven kingdom.
