Kingsbay

The Kingsbay is a large brackish tidal estuary fed primarily by the Ren River, as well as countless brooks and streams stemming from The Mire and the surrounding area. The banks of the Kingsbay are peppered with small nameless fishing villages there to take advantage of the diverse variety of seafood the bay provides.
The Kingsbay is both a major stop for traders and a prime hunting ground for fishermen. Trade ships are constantly passing through delivering wares from Hraun, Dol Gorak, and the Celestine Empire to Torenvar and Backbay. The fishing grounds see a seasonal surge of pike and salmon who both come to spawn there as well as take advantage of the squid that migrate to the bay in the late winter.
