Renshire

Renshire is the capitol of Renshire Province in central Renvere. Unlike the other provinces, Hoss and Malaster, Renshire is lead by a lesser branch of the royal family.  The Torenson family comes from the the younger brother of the first King Torhen.  Renshire city is the seat of power that rules over the Dutchy of Renshire, which consists of a large forested area, several mines in the Stonehorns, as well as the great swamp known as The Mire.  The region produces a large amount of lumber, ore, saltpeter, and peat moss.  The saltpeter in particular is a key commodity in trade with the kingdom of Ferethrane, which accounts for a sizeable portion of the regions income.  Renshire, both the city and the dutchy in general is one of the most diverse regions, mostly due to its generally low human population compared to Malaster and Hoss.
