The Final Words of Jonas Chaplin

This ancient text appears to have been hastily written in strange text, only some of it is readable. Recovered in the mountain ruins north of Lochwood by Vincent Maze, Russel and Stiks.

"My legion was sent here to the First Temple to secure the sacred texts and artifacts of Arcanus, Ro and Sindar, however few of us survived and most of our charge was destroyed. Venandi had been on our trail as soon as we left the capital, but we did not anticipate one of her scions to find us. The only good news is that this means that the Queen and the rest of the Torovian forces have made it safely to Last Bastion. Soon Venandi will catch up and I fear we don't have even one tenth of the strength to fend him off, but perhaps the most important of what we have been able to bring here could be hidden. My only hopes that a Torovian loyal to the people will find this message and recover them.
