Tranquil Stone

Tranquil Stone is a Runidiri Archdruid from the Treemender Clan.  He is master to his apprentice Cloudhawk.  

He initially arrived in northern Renvere, dispatched from Sylvara, to investigate a lack of communication from a group of Runidiri sent to start a new temple in the area for the rebirth of the wolf spirit Moro. However he was ambushed by the demon Malice who had stolen the khasir, hoping to use it's power to his own gain. Even being ambushed, and outnumbered by Malice's demons, Tranquil Stone nearly defeated the demon, but was eventually captured. Seeing the strength of the druid, Malice suspected he held knowledge of how to access the khasir's power.  Malice order his life spared and he was brought to Malice's fortress of briars in the woods where he was tortured until near death for nearly two weeks, refusing to grant Malice the knowledge of the khasir and greatly slowing his progress in tapping into it's wealth of power.  Eventually Malice was driven away by the adventurers of Gravesend and Tranquil Stone was rescued.  The heroes recovered Moro's khasir and returned it to Tranquil Stone.

Tranquil Stone then traveled with Cloudhawk to the Temple of Akil'zon in the Stonehorn Mountains, a small temple lead by another archdruid, Soaring Sky.  He took time to recuperate, during which he attended a tribunal.  The adventurers of Gravesend had, in error, battled with and slain Akil'zon, the great eagle.  While many of the Runidiri there demanded blood, Tranquil Stone spoke on the behalf of the heroes and helped their defense.  He would later travel with them to the Great Sentinel Tree Temple to return the Staff of Nago.

After the heroes of Gravesend defeated the goblin Riki'visha at the Stonespire, formerly the Runidiri temple of Hir'eek, Tranquil Stone was assigned to help rebuild the temple as a home for Akil'zon, Hir'eek and Moro.

Tranquil Stone led a group of druids during the Battle of Bear Isle, being among the first to make landfall.  His group, including his apprentice, closed one of the Hellmouths, cutting off the demons reinforcements.  After the battle was concluded it was decided that he would take over leadership at the Stonespire Temple.
