As the name suggests the Fangshi are skilled in mutliple disciplines such as alchemy, astrology, medicin, mystic and history. These skills are used to advise others.

Career Progression

Whoever wants to be a method master will first start out as an assistent to a method master. The master will then decide when his student gets to work by himself.

Payment & Reimbursement

Depending on who a method master serves, the income can look very different. Some succesful method masters get to assist the ruling class or rich officers, which reflects on their income. However there is also Fangshi available to the general public, advising for example young couples in naming their child based on astrology or writing down family history for the years to come. Here the prices can vary.
